William Dede
Director of Event Operations and Community Affairs for the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation

William Dede currently serves as Director of Event Operations and Community Affairs for the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation. In this role, he develops and executes operational event plans for major sporting and city-wide events in the greater New Orleans area. He also serves as the Community Relations liaison with the City of New Orleans for the Local Organizing Committees and community affairs initiatives implemented by the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation.
Prior to joining GNOSF, William worked for the ASM Global as the Event Services Manager for ten years. He was the main point of contact for all major events held at the Caesars Superdome. In this role, he was responsible for gathering and implementing the logistical information from clients to internal and external partners associated with the major event.
William received a Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Sports Management from the Southeastern Louisiana University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Louisiana State University. William and his wife, Vondah, have a son and daughter, William and Bayleigh.
